Can NovaMed help with my insurance claim?
We provide the medical side: examinations, diagnosis, treatment and detailed documentation of your injuries. Those records can support your No-Fault claim and any injury case. We don’t negotiate with insurers or give legal advice, and no outcome is guaranteed.
Do I need a lawyer to be seen?
No. Anyone hurt in a car accident can be seen. If you already have a personal injury attorney, we coordinate records with their office once you sign a release.
What does it cost me?
For most Michigan drivers, care for crash injuries is billed to the Personal Injury Protection (PIP) part of their own auto insurance, whoever caused the accident. We verify your coverage before your visit.
The accident was weeks ago. Can I still come in?
Yes. Pain that starts late or doesn’t go away is common. Michigan generally requires written notice of injury to your auto insurer within one year of the accident.
What should I bring?
A photo ID, your auto insurance card, the claim number if you have one, and the police report number if a report was made.
